On July 4, 2022, eight students from two schools in Panabo City, namely Sindaton National High School (NHS) and Quezon NHS, traveled to Manila after being selected for scholarships at the Sotelo Heart Foundation Inc.
The Sotelo Heart Foundation Inc. is a non-government organization that provides scholarships to financially challenged but deserving students who aspire to pursue higher education. The foundation’s aim is to empower young minds and help them achieve their dreams by providing them with the necessary support.
The eight students, whose names were not revealed, were selected based on their academic performance and their financial situation. The scholarship covers their tuition fees, book expenses, and other related costs.
